ICONIC PIECES

I WAS BORN FOR ART.

Art painted at 100

A critique of 10 works, selected on the basis of their being most representative of who he is and what he stands for.

Asking Lim Tze Peng to choose 10 of his most personal and representative works is like asking him to choose 10 of the most memorable episodes in his life. “Where do I start?” he asks. Understandably, it is going to be tough. His career can be compared to a marathon without a finishing line. To be sure, he is not ending the run any time soon, age notwithstanding.

"Perhaps works from the last two decades," I suggest. Even then, he has produced so many notable works. The last two decades have proven to be the best years of his art career.

There is only very good and very bad, nothing in between.
